Across Creation, individuals from every walk of life awaken, possessed by a profound belief that it is their religious duty to flock to the frontlines in a sacred pilgrimage, bringing war to the enemies of YHWH. Donning the signature iron capirote of the Trench Pilgrims, these zealots rush barefoot across the killing fields of No Man’s Land. They carry improvised bludgeons, heirloom swords, and rifles and shotguns looted from the trenches, wearing little more than the clothes they left home in. Some Trench Pilgrims are even resurrected after mortal wounds, continuing to slaughter Heretics as Martyr Penitents.
